Our Gel Packs really have been specially formulated to get your products / produce to you as fresh as the day it left ThermaPak – the packaging is PET (the most durable recyclable plastic on the market) and, our specially formulated Gel Solution is 100% Biodegradable and Soluble meaning that if you don’t want to use them for coolant packs for picnics / day trips away or your lunchboxes etc, you can pour down the sink and simply wash away.

As we mix the gel in small batches the packs are easily tailored to specific customer needs for cooling, viscosity and size.

GEL PACK RECIPE

We at ThermaPak were dismayed about the quality deemed as 'industry standard' for gel packs designed to get perishable goods to customers, so we spent 18 months in a test kitchen getting our recipe to the quality that we decided the industry standard should be.

We treat each mix of our recipe with the care and respect you give your produce before it goes out to your customers. As such, we do small batch mixing so that we have full control at every step of the way of our ThermaChill Gel Pack production.

From keeping perishable goods chilled for over 48hrs throughout the UK, to being used in delivery of produce as far afield as Asia, our food safe ThermaChill Gel Packs have endured significant distance and time.

ThermaChill Gel is classed as Food safe & non-toxic.  To the best of our knowledge, no current Legislation and / or Regulations that determine the ingredients for ‘Coolant Gel / Gel Packs / Gel Ice’ however, the ingredients used in the manufacture of our ThermaChill Gel Packs is already widely used in our existing food chain.
